Hello, my name is Kevin Qin, and I am a freshman currently enrolled at Seven Lakes High School in Katy, Texas. I have lived in Canada for twelve years before moving to Katy.

When I was seven years old, my parents introduced me to chess. Throughout the years, I have placed in the top rankings many times in both provincial and national level tournaments. Now, I am a member of the Seven Lakes High School Chess Club and still play competitive chess in my free time.

Outside of school academics, I play alto saxophone in the Seven Lakes High School Marching Band. I also enjoy mathematics, specifically contest mathematics and graphing.

Through BestBridgeToHeart, I not only hope to teach underprivileged children, but also cultivate their willingness to pursue higher education.
