BestBridgeToHeart supports Legacy’s Little Readers Program in many ways.
Legacy Community Health is an accredited Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and a non-profit health care organization, driving healthy change in our communities of Greater Houston Area by providing many healthcare services to enhance the quality of lives of their patients. One of their programs is the Little Readers Program which gives free books and educational resources to the children of their adult patients. BestBridgeToHeart partnered with Legacy Community Health to enhance and support their Little Reader's Program to bolster the educational experience of these children.

Princeton Learning Experience Online Classes during COVID-19 Pandemic!
Since March of 2020, BestBridgeToHeart has partnered with Princeton Learning Experience, a non-profit organization based in New Jersey, to provide English language and Science Olympiad training online for children across America as well as for international students throughout the globe hoping to learn English. Our volunteers have created many virtual classes, lasting multiple months each, to help students learn and grow. BestBridgeToHeart uses personalized online curricula as well as self-created lesson plans, worksheets, and assignments to help students better understand the English language as well as scientific topics, hoping to bolster their education and their future during the COVID-19 pandemic.

We Are Fighting COVID-19 Together!!!
To ensure the safety of critical frontline workers and honor their hard work and courage, BestBridgeToHeart purchased and donated 4,000 medical masks to hospitals, clinics, and fire stations throughout the Greater Houston area using our leftover resources from cancelled and delayed BestBridgeToHeart events and activities. These frontline workers are working hard to keep America safe and promote our well-being, and we believe it is important to respect their sacrifice and help them in any way we can.

BestBridgeToHeart Does Book Events!
♡ BestBridgeToHeart has donated nearly a thousand books to the non-profit organization "Books Between Kids," which sends books out to under-resourced elementary schools and communities throughout the Greater Houston area.
♡ BestBridgeToHeart has volunteered at "Books Between Kids" events multiple times, helping them sort, organize, package, and distribute books to needed children throughout the Greater Houston area.
♡ BestBridgeToHeart also donated hundreds of books to Memorial Hermann Hospital.

Health Care
♡ Dental care events – We taught kids how to better protect their teeth (and why it’s important) while providing free dental care products to low-income families’ children, such as toothpaste, floss, and toothbrushes.

♡ Health care events – We will help others learn about a variety of health topics, including but not limited to healthy eating, understanding food labels, prevention and cure of various diseases, the importance of exercise, etc.
BBTH at Ronald McDonald House in Galveston
On 12/16/2023, our BBTH volunteers prepared holiday meals for families and their children with cancer and other serious illnesses. The hot meal helps the families feel at home, bringing them comfort and happiness.
BBTH has also donated $500 for the purchasing of new books to provide these children with the opportunity of furthering their education. We hope these books can provide the children the support they need to overcome challenges.

BBTH Scholarship Program
For the 2023-2024 school year, BestBridgeToHeart established an achievement-based scholarship program at Olga Leonard Elementary School. Young students who achieve academic success, read 50 or more books per year in their pursuit of learning, and write a short response to a selected prompt will receive gift cards as well as recognition and support from our organization. BestBridgeToHeart hopes this scholarship program will provide a small but important difference in the lives of children as they continue their education and pursue their dreams.
