Hi, I'm Alice! I'm a sophomore at Stephen F. Austin High School, and in my free time I love dancing, drawing, and ice skating.

My mother tongue is Chinese, and when I moved to the United States in 7th grade, I experienced quite a bit of culture shock. My teachers and classmates were incredibly supportive, and gradually I gained confidence — my English has been improving ever since.

That experience is why I'm passionate about helping underprivileged kids learn to read and build confidence of their own. BestBridgeToHeart's work supporting literacy for Houston-area kids truly matches my values, and I'm excited to be part of the team helping children gain greater access to education.

I'm committed to giving back to the community that has given me so much.
